Virtual Metal Band Pentakill Releases New Album 'Ii
Pentakill, the in-game League of Legends heavy metal band, is getting a real-world album release. Conceived by California-based gaming gurus Riot Games in 2014, Pentakill exist purely in the imaginations of their creators - and the 100 million global fans of League of Legends , the multiplayer online battle arena game that spawned the band's members, Karthus the Deathsinger, Yorick, Sona, Olaf and lead guitarist Mordekaiser the Master of Metal.
Pentakill Kayle is a common skin that was released in August 2017. In 2008, Jørn Lande lent his voice to the rock opera bands Ayreon on the album 01011001 and Avantasia on the album The Scarecrow , both released in January 2008. While not officially done by Riot Games, YouTube weapon creators Man At Arms: Reforged created the Nameless Blade — the signature weapon of Yasuo in the game.
You can download their full album free from Riot, and enjoy hit head-banging tracks like Ohmwrecker”, Deathfire Grasp”, and Last Whisper” for as long as your blown, metalloid minds can handle. It's the image when you just get the pentakill in the League of Legends game but will be your face in the middle.
The end of Vagabond came with the reformation of TNT in 1996, and subsequently the band members went their separate ways, with Jørn joining a band formed in by Whitesnake former guitarists Bernie Marsden and Micky Moody called The Snakes After a tour with The Snakes playing mostly Whitesnake covers and the recording of an album released only in Japan called Once Bitten , Jørn was fired from the band and joined other projects, including the Symphonic Metal band Mundanus Imperium, which resulted on the album The Spectral Spheres Coronation.
We've also got the names of all the songs from the credits - aside from those two singles, we'll have "Frozen Heart," "Infinity Edge," "Rapid Firecannon," "Cull," "Mortal Reminder," "Dead Man's Plate," "The Blade of the Ruined King," and "The Hex Core mk-2." I never realised until now quite how metal the items in League of Legends sound.
Billed as the fictional land of Valoran's most famous rock band, the group is fronted by the demonic Karthus, joined by guitarist Mordekaiser, keyboardist Sona, bass player Yorick, drummer Olaf, and recently added golden warrior goddess Kayle on vocals.
Karthus, Sona, Mordekaiser, Yorick, and Olaf are all due newer variations of their Pentakill skins and since this new album is already looking to be darker, hopefully, they'll be even more metal-inspired than before. The premium image across this t-shirt sees a detailed print inspired by the League of Legends Pentakill band, the design sees the Valoran band members in a detailed design with the rock n roll hand sign and metal guitar in hand.
His classical mace twitch was adapted to the axe-guitar which is a very clever turn of the Riot Games. It's a metal band whose music goes perfectly playing in the background as you rack up kills in the Summoner's Rift. Three years have passed since the release of their debut album, but the fictional band Pentakill is back with some very real heavy metal music.
If you could get a whole team full of Pentakill skins, then their recall animations would be an awesome sight. In-game, Pentakill is a five-person band made up of Mordekaiser, Karthus, Yorick, Sona, and Olaf. Pentakill Kayle is headlining the League store at 1350 RP. Wield the voice of a hellion-valkyrie as you bring weaker warriors to their knees with relentless waves of operatic fury.
Factor in the eye-popping visuals and explosive violence of League of Legends - witness the Mortal Reminder video for evidence - and Pentakill could hardly be more fitting (or preposterous) standard bearers for the love-in between gaming and metal fans, blurring the lines between so-called real music and digital fantasy in a way that no acts have managed before.
Anyone familiar with League of Legends may have heard of the "Pentakill Skins" - a collection of skins for Karthus, Olaf, Sona, Mordekaiser and Yorick that transform them into the fictional heavy metal band of the same time. It was executed in the lovely Riot's way and have a beautiful SFX and VFX in it. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves the Metal genre, even if they never played League of Legends at all.
